5 shocking facts about air quality that will make you rethink the air quality at home or in your office, and your need for air purification solutions. Read our blog for more information.
As a chronic asthma sufferer, I’ve always had an interest in air quality as I’ve often found myself at the wrong end of the negative effects of poor air quality. So how safe is the air we breathe? With everything that’s been going on with the pandemic, I found myself asking that question a lot. How bad could it really be?
In this article I’ve taken some time to do an investigation into the cleanliness of our air and answer the question, “does paying attention to air quality really matter?” The answer to that question is yes – it does matter – and here are 5 reasons why.
The uncomfortable truth is that our collective negative contribution to the air we breathe has now reached a point where we simply can’t ignore the effects of poor air quality.
Though it may be hard to make drastic changes as an individual to outdoor air quality, I’ve found that controlling the quality of indoor air does make a huge difference to my health and the health of those that spend time in any enclosed workplace or building.
I recommend adding plants to your building as they can assist with absorbing harmful pollutants, and they look great too. Check out our sister site, Ambius, for some inspiration. However for peace of mind and an air purification solution that will consistently help reduce indoor pollutants I recommend installing an air purification solution such as the VIRUSKILLER™.
All VIRUSKILLER™ technology uses a unique combination of medical-grade pre-filters and a UV reactor chamber to deliver clean air and remove a wide range of larger contaminants from the air including airborne viruses and bacteria with a single air pass. You can find out more about this in our article on: ‘Behind the design of the next air care revolution: VIRUSKILLER™‘
